Police are looking for a suspect who was caught on camera robbing a man outside a bank earlier this month in Crescentville.

The man was leaving the Wells Fargo at 700 Adams Ave. after withdrawing cash around 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, when he was approached by a male suspect. He grabbed the victim’s waistband and tried to take his money, authorities said.

Police said the suspect told him, “If you don’t give me what I want, I will kill you.” After the man handed over the cash, the suspect fled in an older-model two-door white car, according to police.

Back in September, a businessman was robbed of $27,500 outside the same bank while he was going to make a deposit.

Anyone with information about the suspect or this robbery is asked to contact Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153/3154. All tips will be confidential. ••
